Starting Hearts Saves Precious Lives. We are a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to saving precious lives from sudden cardiac arrest, our nation’s greatest killer. We do so through widespread free education, placement of public access defibrillators, and citizen engagement to provide early care. Our save rate in the communities we serve is 25%, more than 2.5 times the national average.

We are coming to Denver to train thousands of citizens and place hundreds of public access defibrillators, made possible by our generous donors. We would be so very grateful for your support.
