Dumb Friends League

Since 1910, the Dumb Friends League has been a steadfast voice to animals in need, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves. A national leader in animal welfare, the League cares for more than 20,000 homeless pets and horses each year. As a private, non-profit organization, the League depends on our compassionate community’s support to continue our work. Your donation helps provide gentle care and new beginnings to thousands of animals.

The League works to support both the pets and people in our community through a range of programs and services. Programs like pet adoption, lost and found services, humane education, low-cost veterinary care, spay and neuter and so much more.

Over the years, we have been able to significantly reduce the number of homeless pets, find homes for more pets, and support an overall better quality of life for animals in the community. Throughout our history, the benevolent Denver metro community and beyond has helped sustain the organization so we can fulfill our mission. We are eternally grateful for the community’s trust in the Dumb Friends League and its support of the animals we serve.

When you donate to the League, you are changing the lives of pets and people in Colorado and beyond. Learn more about programs and services at the League and make your gift at ddfl.org.
