Chelsea Hutchison Foundation

The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation (CHF) grants comfort and hope to those affected by epilepsy through providing tangible monitoring resources, vital information, and a safe haven for conversation and community. Our main goal is to raise awareness of SUDEP and to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families living with epilepsy. We raise funds to provide education about SUDEP and to provide seizure response service dog grants, lifesaving movement monitors that help to protect against SUDEP and grant wish trips to Epilepsy Awareness Day and Expo at Disneyland. We stay up to date on current trends in medical technology in order to be able to provide the most effective devices as they become available. We respect the value and quality of life of every person living with epilepsy. We provide opportunities that allow individuals and families greater independence, increased confidence, ability to enjoy social environments, and community understanding.

“CHF community has brought me so much joy and has given me opportunities to feel accepted and less alone in my epilepsy journey. CHF has also given me the greatest gift of a lifetime. Thanks to Chelsea’s Wish, my family and I will be traveling to California to attend the epilepsy convention and will also enjoy Disneyland and California Adventures. This trip is a dream come true! I am not sure how I will ever be able to express my gratitude for this gift.”

“When I was at my wits end with two young children having seizures, CHF helped me obtain monitors to make our life a bit easier. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness in such a troubling time of our lives. The blessings they give families every day and the support they give the Epilepsy community is outstanding. I’m forever thankful for their support and help given to our family.”
